ONE, the performance of the product itself
The performance of the product itself mainly includes the shape, physical state, strength, structure, weight, value, and danger of the product. This is the first problem to be considered when packaging.
1 product shape. There are mainly square, cylindrical, polygonal, and special shapes. The packaging should be designed according to the shape characteristics of the product, requiring small packaging volume, good fixing, stable storage, and meeting the standardization requirements.
2 product physical state. There are mainly solid, liquid, gaseous, mixed, etc., different physical states, and their packaging containers are also different.
3 product strength. For products with low strength and vulnerability to damage, take full account of the protective properties of the package, and there should be obvious marks on the outside of the package.
4 product structure. Different products often have different structures, some are not resistant to pressure, and some are afraid of impact. Only when the product structure is fully understood can the different products be properly packaged.
5 product weight. For heavy products, pay special attention to the strength of the package to ensure that it is not damaged during circulation.
6 product value. Different products have great value differences, and those with high value should be considered.
7 product hazards. For flammable, explosive, toxic and other dangerous products, to ensure safety, there should be precautions and specific markings on the outside of the package.
TWO. Differences in product packaging methods

The choice of packaging method is very important for product protection. Only by comprehensively understanding the product performance and circulation conditions, making several plans and conducting economic evaluation, can we find a suitable packaging method. Product packaging methods are reflected in two aspects:
1 Choose the packaging method. According to the requirements of product protection strength, easy to use, easy to mechanical loading and unloading and transportation, etc. to choose the appropriate packaging process and packaging method.
2Select packaging materials. According to the product performance, choose the packaging materials suitable for the production of packaging containers, and select the appropriate accessory packaging materials to package the products.
THREE. The impact of natural environment on product packaging
1 Transport conditions. During the transportation process, the product will be affected by impact and vibration, and different transportation tools will have different effects on the packaging. Product fixation and buffering should be considered primarily.
2 Loading and unloading conditions. Conditions such as manual loading or unloading, as well as loading and unloading times should be considered.
3 storage conditions. Storage multi-purpose stacking, packaging should be investigated for its compressive strength. In addition, the storage is also divided into indoor storage and outdoor storage, the former should pay attention to moisture, mildew, waterproof, etc.; the latter should pay attention to rain, snow, sun, wind and so on.
4 meteorological conditions. There are mainly sunlight, temperature, humidity, rain, snow and air. They have different effects on different products, which need to be considered separately for different meteorological conditions.
